On December 3rd, Menlo JCL hosted our annual Christmas party at the Redwood Family House. Each family got to pick out their own christmas tree and set of ornaments, and we brought and decorated a tree for the center too. The kids (and parents) had fun making ornaments with paint and glitter, creating snowman photo frames for polaroid photos, and feasting on Buca di Beppo and cookies. In the end, the families got to take their snowmen and ornaments to decorate their trees with. The party was a heartwarming way to celebrate the holiday season, which can be especially hard for homeless families.
