Minutes for May 12th

We are getting a turntable for Mr. Brodie and we will send emails to latin students asking to contribute money and people will ask for money in their classes.

The Banquet is still Renaissance theme, and a RSVP email was sent to all the parents of Latin students.

We are still deciding on color decorations and they will most likely be a in-store decision.

Minutes for May 5th

Waffle sale May 20th , Begin setup next meeting.

Possibly getting Mr. Brodie a turntable as a going away gift.

Magis invited Alums to Banquet.

We still need all of the photos on Flickr.

Arma Carminaque Troia: Tragedy, on saturday May 16th from 1-4 at menlo school. If you are not going to prom you will have time.

Renaissance music for the banquet. Still renaissance theme. There are special outfits.

Brainstorming for Ludi: Sports suchs as dodgeball and ultimate frisbee and indoor chariot racing, gladiators.

Good things from convention: food trucks, hypnotist,

Bad things: Having all of the fun stuff late saturday night when people want to go home.

Minutes for March 24th

We leave at 2:00, so tell your teachers that you have to get out early. That is E block that we miss.

 

The most important things are the cheers. We are taking them from the Sea of Gold cheers. We learned them during the meeting but if you were not there find somebody who knows them.

 

They are:

Let’s go Menlo (pump with the clubs)

I believe (pointing, requires lots of energy)

Rollercoaster

 

Then one new one:

 

Conductor: Who are we?

 

Everybody else: Menlo?

 

Conductor: What do we want?

 

Everybody else: State, state, state, state … (while getting pumped and jumping around).

 

 

Minutes for March 3rd

1.     Movie night? Good or bad Idea?

2.     Make sure people classes get their photos in for the scrapbook.

3.     We need an update on the webpage? Akshay get in touch with middle school, remember that we submit the website to nationals several times throughout the year

4.     Thirty two kids are signed up for convention so far.

5.     Antigone(theater) will be moved to a different day or cancelled.

6.     Newsletter is almost done. Last thing is pictures.

Movie night

Won’t be at Carla’s anymore. Connor’s house and Magis’s house are the next two options

Pizza will be ordered and Ice cream and popcorn are being brought.
